THE SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT:  EVERYBODY CAN DO SOMETHING

Our Group and our family have always been paying attention to all the problems pertaining to the social engagement.
As we already explained in the introduction, at the end of the year the Giorgio Tesi Foundation will be ready and it will firstly support the most critical situations.

Moreover, we have been collaborating with the Welfare Co-operative whose aim is to develop useful activities for the social disadvantaged persons’ working reintegration.
The project was born thanks to Doctor Alessandra Migliorini, the Co-operative’s Manager and deputy President.
As far as their projects of trees’ production and cultivation concern, we agreed to give them a free consultancy by some specialized technician of ours.
Thanks to our advices and to the great efforts that all the Co-operative’s workers demonstrated, the production nearly doubled and the economic results were appreciable.
This was very important for all the boys who could proudly demonstrate that, thanks to these new jobs, they were able to go over the bad moments of their lives.

Among all the initiatives, it’s important for us to remember the constant collaboration with the learning world with projects addressed to all the students: from University till day nursery.
For this reason our Company agreed to take part to an initiative supported by the Associazione Vivaisti Pistoiesi and the Municipality of Pistoia called “Open nurseries and green first fruits”.
It consists in organizing tours into the nurseries for the primary school’s pupils.
This is important for them because in this way they can approach their own town nursery reality and know some phases of the tree working.
