The new production branches

After nine years from the first experience with the Piadena branch, our company has decided to carry on thisway which gave us and our clients the results we wereexpecting.
Starting from September 2009, if everything goes asscheduled, we will open two new sites in strategic production areas: Orbetello (GR) and San Benedetto delTronto (AP).

As we already do with our Piadena site, we will arrangedaily exchanges with the new branches to meet everyneed.
Buying a land and starting new productions in areas farfrom our Pistoia headquarters is a huge economical, financial and organisational effort: this would not bepossible without finding reliable persons who will rulethese branches.
Let us introduce you then, our newbranch managers: Ferdinando Mazzi for Orbetello, experienced nurserymen who formerly worked for otherlocal companies and Bruno Malizia for San Benedettodel Tronto, skilled producer.
Even though they have entered our group just recently, they have already showedtheir dedication, reliability and responsibility, which areessential for the success of our projects.

Branch of Orbetello

FerdinandoOrbetello lies in the southern part of Tuscany, in thefamous Maremma region: the nursery sets along thehistoric Via Aurelia km.
143,500 south direction, in frontof the Orbetello lagoon and Monte Argentario.
Its surface is 18 hectares – open field and containerareas – where we will grow the typical Tuscan Mediterranean plants such as Myrthus, Pistacia lentiscus,Quercus suber etc.
An especially mild climate allowseven the production of the plants which are most sensitive to the cold.

Branch of San Benedetto del Tronto

BrunoThe other new production site is in San Benedetto delTronto, famous seaside resort, set in a favourable spotalong the Adriatic motorway, one kilometre from thecoast.
Totally, there will be 9 hectares for both open field andcontainer production.
The items we will produce therein larger numbers will be Pittosporum Tobira, LaurusNobilis and Nerium Oleander, whose production at Pistoia could not fulfil the increased demand of the latestseasons.
